Comedy clubs are a hilarious thing to do in Orlando for couples, and Improv is possibly the best spot in town.

Hit up the comedy club’s website to flick through their busy calendar of shows and book a date night that’ll have you both gasping for air.
Improv has a restaurant too, so you could make a whole evening of it by making a dining reservation at the same time as booking your tickets.
8. Take A Boat Tour on the Lakes
Orlando is blessed with some beautiful waterscapes, from large lakes to mysterious marshes.

Whether you’re in Orlando as a couple, or with your kids, a boat tour will be a highlight of your time in town.

If museums bring the word “stuffy” to mind, but your partner loves them, then head to the Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Gardens. The gardens are particularly fun, filled with interesting sculptures… and space for a picnic.
10. Have Dinner at One of the Top 5 Restaurants in Orlando
So, you’re looking for a brilliant date night in Orlando… you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to places for dinner.

Kadence, at 1809 Winter Park Road, is a delicious sushi and sake bar that would be a perfect segue from a boat tour on the lake.


For a cut of luxury – medium rare – make a reservation at Bull & Bear, the Waldorf Astoria’s celebrated steakhouse.




Be entertained by celebrity chef Todd English at his seafood restaurant, Todd English’s Bluezoo. The restaurant itself is a work of art, and that’s before you’ve even picked up your cutlery.


Ok, it’s got the wrong State in its name, but the California Grill is an appropriate nod to the birthplace of Disney Studios, Disneyland and the magic that followed.

And if you’re anywhere near International Drive, get yourself a table at The Hampton Social, which is open for lunch and dinner, with live music in the evenings.

Orlando’s NBA team always puts on a great show, and the crowd sure knows how to have a good time. Soak up the atmosphere and cheer on The Orlando Magic at their next home game in the Amway Center.

Now this is a cool thing for couples to do in Orlando. Chill out in the world’s most popular year-round ice bar! Yes, ICE Bar Orlando is the number ice bar in the entire world! And it’s a great date night.

It’s not all about breaking the ice though. Once you’ve marvelled at the ice sculptures and downed your shot from a shot glass made of ice, it’s time to warm up in the Fire Lounge.
As Katy Perry once said, you’re hot then you’re cold…. She must have been thinking of ICE Bar Orlando.
16. Hang Out in Disney Springs
Disney Springs is another of Disney’s show-stopping destinations and offers you so many memorable things to do in Orlando for couples.

Hit the shops – there are 103 of them – maybe catch a movie, then head to dinner at one of the 64 delicious eateries in town.

18. Enjoy a Relaxing Bioluminescent Kayaking Adventure
Ignite the adrenaline and prepare for a thrilling and romantic bioluminescent kayaking adventure. BK Adventure run a host of tours in the Banana River and Indian River areas, where the water quite literally glows with bioluminescence.

It is a magical experience to be kayaking on glowing water. The stuff of movies. And you can enjoy it with your other half right here, for real, in Orlando.
Book ahead though, these tours get fully booked up in the summer, when the bioluminescence is at its brightest.

We are such a small speck on the history of the cosmos, and NASA is at the forefront of discovering exactly what is “out there”.

Be in the place where real space exploration happens. And if you’re lucky, you may even have the opportunity to witness a space launch.

20. Go Bar Hopping Downtown Orlando
Bar hopping always makes for an entertaining night, and it’s a sure way to have some laughs and build memories with your other half.

So, if you’re looking for things to do for couples in Orlando, and you love a good cocktail, here are some bars to hit up.
Hooch at Wall Street Plaza has a creative steam-punk theme, and a menu of enticing moonshine cocktails.
Also check out Treehouse Orlando for a trendy vibe and craft cocktails. Or, if there’s a game on, hit up The Basement Orlando, where you’ll get great drinks and watch the game on the big screens.
21. Take a Ride on a Swan
Take it easy down in Lake Eola Park and swan away the afternoon on a swan-shaped paddle boat. You’ll also come across real swans, and perhaps catch a concert or movie in the Walt Disney Amphitheater.

Lake Eola is a great spot for a couple selfie in front of the Orlando skyline – time your selfie for sunset for the best glow up imaginable.

Orlando is brimming with characters from movies, but what about some live theatre. You got it right here at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.

With a constantly changing line-up of touring shows, you’ll be able to catch a different production every time you’re in the mood for a quality show.

ICON Park has got romantic things to do in Orlando down to a tee. The Wheel, with its mind-blowing views of Orlando has a special option just for couples – romance capsules.

Escape Rooms have taken the world by storm, and make for a wonderful date.
In the world’s themed-entertainment capital it’s no surprise that we’ve got the best selection of rooms to escape from.

Bring out your inner child at Playground by The Escape Game, or help in a bank adventure hosted by America’s Escape Game.

If Pirates of the Caribbean is your jam, Lockbusters have an immersive Pirate Adventure for 3-8 players. And if you think you’ve seen all that Escape Rooms can do, head over to The Bureau for an escape adventure of tomorrow, with no locks and keys in sight…

Downtown Winter Park is such a lovely area in Orlando, Florida. This can be a cheap date or a luxurious outing.

You can choose to walk around the many shops of Downtown Winter Park, or you can have a delicious dining experience at one of the many top-notch restaurants.

One of my favorite things to do in Winter Park, Florida is hanging out at the Wine Room.

They have lots of wine to choose from with refillable cards that allow you go back-and-forth to enjoy a variety of wine in one visit.
